Scribe Session 9.16: Optimism grows

With a 2-0 start in the books, beat writers Paul Dehner Jr. and Richard Skinner discuss all the developments from this weekend's 24-10 victory against Atlanta.
You hear from Andy Dalton and defensive coordinator Paul Guenther on the quarterback's altered philosophy and the coordinator's first signature shutdown against Atlanta's high-octane passing game.
Skinny and I delve into the versatility shown in Hue Jackson's offense, how many carries is too many for Giovani Bernard, the defense taking shape and all injury concerns from Vontaze Burfict's head to A.J. Green's toe.
Also, we discussed press conference guinea pigs, Travis Tritt and Skinny's old guy moment of the week harkens back to his college days.
