Scribe Session 12.17.13: Road Trip Roundtable Edition

Bengals Enquirer beat writers Paul Dehner Jr. and Joe Reedy are joined by Cox Media Group Bengals beat writer Jay Morrison and Kevin Goheen of Fox Sports Ohio as the four ride back from Pittsburgh together following the Bengals Sunday night loss to the Steelers.

We hear from confident, unconcerned defensive end Michael Johnson and offensive lineman Andrew Whitworth then delve into repercussions of the ugly loss, if we could see a repeat of 2006 and go around the minivan to get the most concerning/most encouraging aspect of the Bengals entering the critical final two games.

Big thanks to Jay (@JayMorrrisonCMG) and Kevin (@FSOhio_KGoheen) for joining in and particularly to Jay for barreling through Columbus to get us home at a decent hour.

We hear from running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis about the emergence of the running game, discuss the importance of Sunday's game by Andy Dalton and start to use a phrase rarely uttered around this city.

Joe and I also do our best to alleviate some heat from the Katy Perry Podcast we are still slightly ashamed of, offer a message for Jeff Triplette and update the open.
