Scribe Session 10.29.13: First-Half Awards Edition

Bengals beat writers Paul Dehner Jr. and Joe Reedy take a break from the 96-hour bender between the Jets win and kickoff in Miami to discuss the Bengals 49-9 rout of New York.

We hear from offensive coordinator Jay Gruden and four-TD receiver Marvin Jones on the offense's breakout and discuss why Andy Dalton's numbers spiked so dramatically recently.

Then we hand out our midseason awards for MVP, Best Coach, Breakout Performer, Rookie of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Most Entertaining Game and Best Road Trip.

Recapping those games offers an opportunity to rerack a few favorites from previous podcasts and even our favorite British Polka theme song.
