Scribe Session 3.17: Doc and Dehner

Bengals beat writer Paul Dehner Jr. sits down with columnist Paul Daugherty inside his home office as the two analyze what this week of free agency meant for the Bengals going forward.
We touch on the ripple effect of Michael Johnson, the change of culture and perception then venture into the deeper topic of Chris Borland and if the NFL is in trouble as young players retire early.
Also, hear from Johnson, new linebacker A.J. Hawk and a conversation with Andrew Whitworth about concussions and education among the new generation of NFL player.
We conclude jumping into detail on Doc's fourth book, which hits bookshelves today, An Uncomplicated Life: A Father's Memoir Of His Exceptional Daughter. Doc talks about why he wrote, his emotions going through the process and, of course, how exceptional his daughter, Jillian, truly has become.
And, of course, we talk about how far his Redskins have fallen, the ball of tears he will be at Jillian's wedding and spark our idea of a future musical education podcast series.
