Bengals Mythical Ring of Honor Podcast Series: Anthony Munoz

Over the next four weeks, the Enquirer will unveil each former player of what would be our mythical four-member Bengals Ring of Honor Class. The club doesn't currently have a Ring of Honor or Hall of Fame, but if they did decide to institute one these would be our picks. With the selection, we sit down for a podcast conversation with each of the Bengals legends about their careers, life after football, the state of the game and, of course, the current Bengals. Enjoy the series.

In this conversation with the first inductee and no-brainer in this exercise I sat down with Anthony Munoz prior to one of his Anthony Munoz Foundation events at Sycamore High School. He talks about Super Bowl memories, the play that really haunts him, the challenges athletes face after the game, surreal nature of driving to Canton when you're in the Hall of Fame, his choice on the most underrated candidate for a Bengals Ring of Honor and his wildly successful foundation helping kids across Cincinnati.

Bengals Beat Podcast: Extensions, rookies and waiver claims

Enquirer Bengals beat writers Paul Dehner Jr. and Jim Owczarski come together to break down a busier than normal two weeks of May.

We jump into four primary topics. We ask if Shawn Williams made the right choice inking the four-year extension with the Bengals. Observations are offered from rookie mini-camp, including a tangent on the possible infusion of increased rotation on the defensive line. More on Jeremy Hill again standing up and answering to all the fumble questions. Will his first-class reaction matter next January? Finally, we judge if there is anything to be taken from the Bengals failed waiver claim on Zach Mettenberger.

Hear from Williams, defensive coordinator Paul Guenther, rookie Tyler Boyd, receivers coach James Urban and a portion of Hill's media session.

If you want to listen on your drive to work or during the morning workout, just download/subscribe to the podcast on iTunes by following the link here. The podcast will come directly to you the instant we post a new one.

Bengals Beat Podcast: Draft Spectacular

The third annual NFL Draft Spectacular Podcast arrives as I'm joined by three draft gurus to talk Bengals-specific draft analysis and break down the questions being asked inside Paul Brown Stadium right now.
First off is Dane Brugler, of CBS Sports and NFL Draft Scout, who put out the draft guide to end all draft guides. His scouting book looks at 450 prospects with every piece of information and breakdown imaginable. If you want to know more about players in this draft and their strengths, weaknesses.
Second comes Sam Monson of Pro Football Focus. Their team moved from the pro analytics game and added college assessment the last couple years as they grade and compile information on every player from major college football. Hard to find a deeper dive into the tape and analytics than this.
Finally, we bring in Doug Farrar of Sports Illustrated. He's currently counting down his top 50 draft prospects with scouting profiles on all of them. We jump into the concept of drafting Jaylon Smith out of Notre Dame and the interesting ranking of a few Bengals targets in his top 50.
